The carrot picker is a system that performs a optical check of the lenght, width, curvature, color and possible defects of carrots. After that the carrots can be put in their final packaging with a speed of 60 picks/minute.
The system uses a combination of automatic image procressing and flexible robotics and is equipped with an ABB-Flexpicker with an individual vacuum gripper and an industrial camera with lighting.
